'Home Alone - Christmas with Kevin' English worksheet - Free Printable

As the holiday season approaches, I’ve been reflecting on the little things that bring joy and togetherness during this time of year. For me, one of those enduring traditions has always been watching Home Alone. It’s a movie that defined my childhood and never fails to evoke laughter, nostalgia, and warmth. Inspired by my love for the film, I decided to create a two-page worksheet that combines fun and learning, perfect for students or anyone looking to revisit the classic in a more interactive way.

The first page of the worksheet sets the tone with an article I wrote about the film. It provides a brief synopsis of the movie, highlighting Kevin McCallister’s hilarious and heartwarming adventures after he’s accidentally left home alone during the holidays.

The second page transitions from reading to action with exercises that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and fun.

I’ve always believed in the power of stories to teach, connect, and inspire. Movies like Home Alone are more than just entertainment; they’re cultural touchstones that can spark conversations and creativity. When I designed this worksheet, I wanted to make it a blend of nostalgia and learning. Whether it’s used in a classroom or as a fun family activity, it’s meant to be a small way of spreading joy and fostering engagement.

While working on this project, I realized how much joy there is in revisiting beloved childhood memories and turning them into something meaningful for others. This worksheet is a labor of love, and I hope it brings a smile to anyone who uses it—just like Home Alone has done for me every holiday season.

If you’d like to give it a try, I’d love to hear how it goes! Did you learn something new about the movie? Which exercise was your favorite? Feel free to share your feedback—and maybe even your booby trap ideas! Let’s keep the spirit of Home Alone alive and well, one worksheet at a time. 🎄
